power + speculative design

I’m genuinely curious about how education / learning will evolve with the developments of AI. But I also worry that without input from a wider range of people—not just tech bros or the same old academic voices—we’re at risk of heading in a more exclusionary, elitist direction. (when actually positives could very well emerge from all of this)

keywords: exclusion, fairness & power

exclusionary and elitist

How does this feed into the research q’s and methodology?

what do I mean by power?

power + generative AI

in what ways can a sense of agency be regained in utilising these tools and technology?

Bias in Data and Architecture of a lot of AI Systems

the role of the institution shifts in this context

the role of a teacher shifts in this context

my positionality underpins these sentiments

generative AI disrupting the historic power of HE teaching institutions (?)

In this context I very much like the idea of disruption (the status quo has never really served me and one size fits all approch always means that some people are left behind)

this could move in varying ways, some more postive, some more negative
