I feel strongly that a big part of my work should be a critique of the current state of affairs. This critique will come from the perspective of being a member of staff and also of studying.

It will pull from a lived experience of being excluded and what it potentially means to have new models that give access to things that have been historically gatekept,

(what new ways of gatekeeping could be brought up/dreamt up) -> (note: 19/11/2025 so many ! now reading hao-empire-of-AI-2025 and although very specific to the world of machine learning development in recent years, not education - if learning and education is mediated through these tools it is so so important to work against the logic of extractivism (among other problematic drivers) that is so pervasive in a lot of tech companies)
